Stem Cell and Exosomes Therapy

Stem Cells

Stem cells are our bodies’ own built-in healing cells which naturally reside within certain tissues of the body. They start out in a dormant state and are “switched on” by the chemical signals produced by damaged tissues, acting to repair and regenerate damaged cells.

What does research show about stem cells?

In “the right” environment stem cells can change into bone, cartilage, muscle, fat, collagen, neural tissues, blood vessels, and even some organs. In addition, via the secretion of special chemical messengers stem cells can trigger the repair of surrounding tissues. Adult stem cells appear particularly effective in improving joint pain, repairing cartilage and ligaments, and even improving some painful conditions that affect the spine.

Exosomes

Exosomes are culture expanded cell secretions. They are used as a stand-alone therapy or in conjunction with platelet rich plasma injections or stem cell injections.  It has recently become clear that the exosomes that stem cells release, rather than the cells themselves, are the real source of health benefit.

Why Choose Growth Factor Therapy like Exosomes?
Growth Factor Therapy focuses on cell signaling and cell recruitment and is the most popular choice for low cost and simple regeneration of tissues. There are several therapies available today including Amniotic Membrane or Fluid and Exosomes.

Exosomes are inherently less risky than live stem cell transplants. Exosomes cannot replicate; they cannot transform into malignant cells or other harmful cell types; they are less likely to trigger an immunogenic response; they cannot be infected with virus. As a further demonstration of their safety, blood plasma contains high concentrations of exosomes, and blood transfusions have been carried out in hospitals for decades. Damaged cartilage does not self - regenerate and is a major cause of joint disease i.e. osteoarthritis. Exosomes will assist the cartilage in repairing itself!
